Torn papers and some I had to Cut really thin lines, used card stock , Mulberry papers, scrap book papers Velvet papers from Cricut. And some tissue papers for back grounds. White paper is eye glass cleaner paper cut in squares to make apples shine……

  cut the white off or leave it on for centering pleasing the eye. added some gold ink around edging …….. next Clear embossing ink is a lot cheaper then versa mark and works the same……….. you could distress it  on the edges, little cuts, bends, and tears..  

Flip Envelope Journal

attach your envelopes  spray stamp or paint. I used this beautiful paper from Recollections signature paper pad collection…. then used some decorative tape on the edges. and added paper snaps and string to open and close it. I add some paper for either photos or journaling.. I plan on adding photo card and placing it

This cover was done with a lot of different napkins , It’s a NAPKIN DECOUPAGE COLLAGE  book cover plus I used some water colors to blend it all in to give it a more orange color to match the matt board covers.

making homemade books

  C     5 pages sewn together . makes 6 sets of these. then we glue sets… glue edges and place it one on top of the other.lining the edges even . .Sanding the edges so its even rotary dremel tool…..{  LOVE THIS TOOL } Just a few of the books I made….

She is always looking threw my art journals and telling me she loves them. She is a very talented young girl , and loves to paint, watercolor, draw , So I am surprising her with her own art journal to do with as she likes…..

You can find this wrapping paper everywhere, I bought this at the Dollar Tree. along with glue sticks.  cut to size of your journal . Now paint soft line across your page with water colors. random stamp your images. add more color in areas you want to highlight, like eyes cheeks.   Now these watercolors

I am  practicing, painting faces its a paint over the face lesson to learn where and how to paint the eyes and nose ect. in the correct areas and it also help s you to notice where the shading goes. I really like how this is going. and hope to do more of this type

I have been wanting to try this for some time its on the long list of things to try. And its alot of fun kind of like putting a puzzle together, but more fun tear your own shapes. The first thing to do is to draw a shape on paper and cut it out, I

Zentangle white out art

Started out with doing some Zentangle art .    then some white stenciling of different sizes of circles with  paint… and some red script stamped on the white paint. Using regular  ACRYLIC Paints. Next I stamped a Rose with black paint and let it dry, then out lined it in White using a WHITE OUT PEN..

making my own stencils….

I have been playing with different types of ways to make stencils. I used clear transparent contact paper, it s really hard to get good cuts on this.  I thought it would be great for protecting the papers from paint inks or what ever I throw at  My home made stencils.  I”ve used plastic furniture

I played with the brown shoe polish and water sprayed works well also pens and black markers sprayed water to make the black run… fun…
