spring has sprung..

Had so much fun coloring these cuties. And building them piece by piece and inking the backgrounds. I didnt realize just how small the pieces were .. but it came out wonderful took a whole day to make but I love it !
mix media arts and crafts, paper cafts, cricut, greeting cards, rubber stamping.
This card was alot of fun. I made my butterfly out of tulle ,fibers, resin, mini marbles, I add a vellum butterfly with yarn for a back ground and happy birthday is done in silver foil.. such a fun card right down to the inside sentiment.

never too much gold foil!!!!! LOL…. added the butterfly with sticky foam cut thin too fit his body. so it opens up….
Cut out butterflies die cut chalked with water color brush then ran them threw embossing folders with pretty different designs.
Did the background of trees with a embossing folder, came out real well. Foiled the happy birthday card and envelope to match. I love my go press foil machine, It works great with my big shot machine. add pearls. ran out of colors so used sharpies to color coordinate.

hello friend greeting card, did a diagonal cut with the word Hello also foiled the hello in red the envelope Also. The inside of this card is lavender with cut out flower pieces…. Usually throw away the small inserts of the flower die but decided to use as a flower to match colors of the card….
Adding perfect pearls , with the water color brush is So pretty.
love the grid background on this card too. With the Lace trim.Inside card shot..
Fancy trim. This card came out really well …
Playing with my foiling plates and my go press. Made a few new cards.
I like making my own accents for projects . So I have tons of washi tape. And alot are gold foil type. So I added them to white card stock. Then just ran my die cuts threw.
and your accents match your card…
ink up your metal stamp die, place in Go press, add a couple paper shims and run through your big shot.. deep impresses the inked plate into your paper. looks wonderful.
Rubber stamped the background paper with clear ink or verse mark then embossing powder and HEAT WITH YOUR HEAT GUN. Then run through your Go Press.
Playing with my new machine. I love it . It works perfectly with my big shot… So happy. I bought some press plates.and these are my results.
I love the way the cards turned out this year it takes me a day and a half to make an average card with this much detail .but I love the reactions I get from people who receive them makes it worth my while.
This is a different horse I made, couldn’t find a photo of the all purple background that I made For Michelle for her birthday, she loved it anyways.. This is the third one I made each is always a bit different as I can never find the same books to repeat images.some of the reigns are made of velvet papers, black… really eye catching. buckles are from photos of lady’s purses. Its really fun love this… THANKS to all my friends for giving me their magazines to use in my art……
Torn papers and some I had to Cut really thin lines, used card stock , Mulberry papers, scrap book papers Velvet papers from Cricut. And some tissue papers for back grounds. White paper is eye glass cleaner paper cut in squares to make apples shine……
She only took me 2 days , it’s hard to believe I must be getting better at this craft ,or I am skipping details. anyways I love her, ………………so shes done… I love tearing the paper’s and seeing things appear , at first they look kind of undone and not right . But the good thing about this art is if you don’t like the results you can always tear up more paper and cover up the mistakes….. oh wait there are no mistakes only happy findings………
Love the way it turned out spent way to many hours finding the right papers for this. But its great in my art book collection……….
LOVE this I saw one and kind of copied the idea of it.
This was inspired by my nephew TEDDY… He used to carry a stuffed Mr. Duck every where he went.. Hard to believe , He is all grown up now…… I am enjoying tearing papers and fitting them like puzzle pieces. its a slow long process . The best part of this is if you don’t like something you can always glue an other piece over the one you didn’t like…. added some mulberry paper to fluff him up some…..
