I used this beautiful paper from Recollections signature paper pad collection…. then used some decorative tape on the edges. and added paper snaps and string to open and close it. I add some paper for either photos or journaling.. I plan on adding photo card and placing it

oh my new stash is so much fun, love my new stencils ,inks and paints ……..  And papers are aw-w-esome !!! I feel like a little girl at art class and its finger paint day!!!!!  So I got to use the new diamond shape stencil…. soooooo neat to actually own stencils I didn’t make myself!!

I have been playing with my new papers and experimenting with textures of papers and tearing them and using them in my art journals  trying to figure out this whole torn paper look , I am adding markers and some black ink and prints to them. I really need more black mulberry papers… got to look

You can find this wrapping paper everywhere, I bought this at the Dollar Tree. along with glue sticks.  cut to size of your journal . Now paint soft line across your page with water colors. random stamp your images. add more color in areas you want to highlight, like eyes cheeks.   Now these watercolors

I am  practicing, painting faces its a paint over the face lesson to learn where and how to paint the eyes and nose ect. in the correct areas and it also help s you to notice where the shading goes. I really like how this is going. and hope to do more of this type

Zentangle white out art

Started out with doing some Zentangle art .    then some white stenciling of different sizes of circles with  paint… and some red script stamped on the white paint. Using regular  ACRYLIC Paints. Next I stamped a Rose with black paint and let it dry, then out lined it in White using a WHITE OUT PEN..

new page for my upgraded catalog journal

I added a page in my new upgraded journal, I decided to use up some of my foils and experiment with my glue arts Glider gun , and it was so fun.    I applied   random strips all over the page,and then I took different color foils and rubbed them on, worked out GREAT. all the

upgraded catalog into art journal.

gesso and glued a used DYER SHEET to the magazine cover first. then gesso the page.   Glue a couple pages together for extra strength also helps when you  apply the gesso, Make sure the Gesso is dry before doing your next set of pages.you can leave a couple pages without Gesso and glue water color
